  1. This looks like such a great exercise tool for older people. Being small and portable is really important for those who live in smaller spaces and don’t have room for something larger like a stationery bicycle. I hope this kind of thing catches on. I know of quite a few older people who don’t get the exercise they need because it is too difficult and when dealing with low energy it’s hard to get out and go to a gym to exercise, even when exercise would greatly improve energy levels. This could really help people in those situations.

  2. I’ve seen this in a magazine once. This would be great for someone who sits all day, like a office worker. The only problem I see with it is that it would work out the muscles in your legs but what about the muscles in the rest of your body. Burning calories is great but you need to work on your muscles too.

  3. That exercising peddle is a piece of typical equipment. Just peddling would really have me work on my legs. The display looks average.

  4. Yeah, this definitely looks like the kind of thing you’d keep under your desk in an office. I wonder how noisy it is, if it isn’t too bad I could totally see that being a great thing to have to get some light cardio in during the work day.

  5. This looks like a somewhat average device, but it still reminded me that I need to get one soon. The weather has started to turn foul and that alone makes indoor exercise equipment worth it!

  6. Even if this sounds pretty interesting, I’d stick with the old and heavy barbell when it comes about training. This seems to be an exercise for people who are lazy and don’t want to really work out, even to the older people I would recommend weight training, they have a very good effect on your body on overall and you don’t need to lift 100kg in order to stay in shape, you can as well lift 4-10 kg if you are older and this will get you only benefits.

  7. That “exercise cycle mechanism” would take up less room than my standing bicycle exerciser. That one I could place under a table or store under a chair. Additionally, an electronic timer makes it even more appealing than my standing bicycle. My stationary bike is in the corner. It has clothing all over it.

  8. Has anyone tried this product before? Is it worth getting? I need to lose some pounds because of health reasons and I wouldn’t mind taking it slow. Thanks in advance for the reply!

  9. This looks like a good idea; it has many advantages, like it’s size, but the problem is I know I’d lack motivation. I’d need something that could somehow keep me motivated enough to actually do the work…If not I know I’d spend money on this, but then never use it. Or use it the first week then give up…

  10. This seems like an interesting product, and I can definitely see its health benefits. Once again though, I feel like that once I buy it, it’s just going to sit at my house gathering dust. It seems like a cheaper and less space-taking alternative to a treadmill though, and as I live in the north, it will definitely be useful during snowy days. Thanks for the article!

  11. This might take up a lot less room than my excersise bike and ball. I live in a sort of small and cramped apartment, so it definitely has it’s benifits. I don’t quite know if I can afford it on my current budget, but it might go on my christmas wishlist, or at least I’ll probably consider it the next time I’m purchasing athletic equipment.
