Loved the show, Ryan!!!! You were great!!! I had you on the big screen and it felt like you were in my living room in Santa Engracia. I was really proud to see you and to see your achievements. All that bakery talk reminded me of those fantastic cheesecakes of yours and that tiny oven!!!! Great work. Keep it up, mi amigo.

I am such a baby! *tears* I really admire strong women that do what they have to do to make it and they don’t complain. Way to go! Beautiful story of ambition and success.

The only reason I don’t go to Portos a lot is because I like so much that I have to watch my weight. But when I want to surprise someone I buy something from Portos and they always love it. Everytime I walk in there I’m amazed on how they run their business with so much customer service, cleanliness, quality, etc. So glad to see this interview and saw that similarities with my mother when we lived in Cuba. She used to make bras and she was the best. Women used to come and bring her the material, wire (yes, wire), and their old bra so that she could create something beautiful for them but also use whatever was needed from the old bra. Thank you!
